This post is primarily geared toward starting developers or those building their websites on WordPress. I will talk about the Themify Master’s Club and some of my favorite plugins included with the bundle.

Themify Builder

I always use Themify themes and plugins on addons on websites. On occasion, I’ll when I work with other themes, I always use a few plugins at the very least. The builder gives many of the Themify themes features available to all WordPress Themes. When themes, plugins, and add-ons all come from the same developer, the site is safer from conflicts. This makes my job easy because my site updates are a breeze. 

Themify Contact

While Themify’s contact form does not offer as many features as others, it’s tiny and fast. In my personal experience, most sites need a simple contact form.

Maps Pro

Most of my newer clients are small, family-owned businesses. A small local business needs to show its physical location. Having a physical location is an indication of a legitimate business.

Themify Popup

Popup usage is a bit controversial. Popup effectiveness is not debatable. Themify’s popup plugin can get in your face or be less invasive, depending on the developer’s discretion.

Themify Ultra Theme

The Ultra Theme is my default theme for every new website I build. I have even written a review and made a few videos about about the Ultra Theme.

A Warning About Free Plugins and Themes

At this point in my web development career, I sparsely use free plugins on my sites. The problems with free plugins are that they tend not to be updated regularly. I always look at a plugin’s update log to see if a plugin has been receiving updates over a long period. A plugin with a good track history is more likely to maintain its quality.
