About the Business and Founder

I met Paul Romero when I was temporarily renting his room in Kihei. He was a high-energy fitness dude with a lot of muscles. After we had tacos together a few times, he invited me to a few classes at Makena Crossfit.

Paul is pretty modest, so when I learned about some of the things he has accomplished, I was shocked. To start, he is one of few humans to have climbed the Seven Summits. If you are unfamiliar with the term, Paul has climbed Everest addition to the highest peak on every continent.

He also placed third in the Adventure Racing World Championships. Competitor Magazine awarded him the Adventure Athlete of the Year. He currently stands behind Altra running shoes. This is why he opened a store inside his CrossFit box called the Maui Altra Running Center, where he offers fittings and expert advice.

About the Site

With countless businesses and athletic endeavors, Paul needed a website that didn’t require constant upkeep. We opted out of a blog and used an Instagram feed import instead. This way, the website would get new content but update the corresponding Instagram account.

I recommend taking advantage of any semi-automated methods to keep updating the content on your site. Search Engines look specifically for content changes on the website. Google ranks sites higher if they are consistently updated. Consistent content changes are seen as a mark of high-quality content.
